Drafting Our Daughters

The recent talk about the Obama administration considering conscription for women in America has brought this subject to the table again. As it makes its way around the news cycles, remember the following things:
First, the Republicans will not oppose it in the end. They lack the guts, or virtue, or, should we say, they lack the belief that it is wrong. Wholesale agreement will be the day for the Republicans as well as the Democrats. This goes for any other party also, except the Constitution Party, who might oppose it.
Second, the Christian knows clearly that God's method in who defends a country militarily is the men, not the women.  Read (if you are really interested) II Samuel 24:9, Jeremiah 50:37 & 51:30.  He knows the perversity of using his wife or daughters to defend himself and his country in combat, let alone conscripting them (forcing it).
Third, what Doug Wilson is quoted as saying makes a lot of Bible sense:

"Once you have signed off on the nation/state conscripting your daughters to go serve in combat roles, whatever it was you thought you were conserving - thus allowing you to call yourself a conservative - has had a fork stuck in it and is done. Nothing really to conserve any more.
