Ravens' Watson: Abortion Pushed on Minorities

             National Football League star Ben Watson insists that Planned Parenthood was created to target minority women and abort their preborn babies.

   The Baltimore Ravens' tight end argues that abortion plays a major factor in the racial divide currently taking place in the United States.

   "[A]bortion saddens me, period," Watson told the Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center in San Diego in a recent interview. "[B]ut it seems to be something that is really pushed on minorities and provided to minorities, especially as something that they should do."

Taxpayer-funded genocide?

   The celebrated NFL player contends that Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger established her abortion business to forward her eugenic agenda to exterminate preborn children from races she deemed as "unfit."

   Regarding Sanger's population control push, Watson went on to say that "it's working" today.

   "We sit here and talk about advancing the black agenda, whatever that means," the acclaimed athlete continued. "We talk about our interests, and what's important to us - like having political power and advancement and all those things - and then we are turning around and we are killing our children."

   Watson then expressed dismay that fellow African Americans are being deceived by those planning their destruction.

   "And we are buying the lie that it's our personal decision to make," the devout Christian contended.

Calling all dads …

   Showing empathy for women who are going through unplanned pregnancies, Watson exhorts men to man-up and be accountable by providing for the physical, emotional and financial needs of their children and the women who carry them.

   "He needs to be there to support her through the physical changes of the pregnancy, and help and provide emotional strength, and do it together," Watson asserted. "As much as he has a role in making the baby in the first place, it needs to take both of them the whole way through."

   As a respected veteran NFL player, Watson maintains that he has many opportunities to speak with other athletes around the league about his Christian pro-life convictions and the dire consequences of abortion. He also says that the athletes around him are eager to hear his take on a number is issues that touch on religion, politics and other sensitive topics.

   "You've got guys that consider themselves conservative and pro-life, and you've got guys that consider themselves liberal and pro-choice, and it kind of goes back and forth," he said. "What I love is that in most of the situations I have been in - not all of them, but most - even if we sometimes talk abrasively to each other, we still have love for each other."

Standing firm for life

   Less than a year ago, Watson took to social media to candidly share his views about Planned Parenthood's scandal involving the selling of aborted preborn baby body parts, which was caught on video by the Center for Medical Progress.

   "As horrific as it is, the issue isn't really the sale of human parts," the pro-life advocate posted on Facebook last September, according to LifeSiteNews. "It's the legal practice that allows this to even be a possibility. Killing children and simply discarding the leftovers is not any more acceptable than profiting off of them."

   After standing against abortion and Planned Parenthood for some time, the professional football player addressed the backlash he has received for voicing his controversial and politically incorrect viewpoint on the issue - and says he has no regrets standing up for his beliefs.

   "I won't say I'm not afraid, and I will say that I've received some flack for some of the things I've said," Watson informed Turning Point. "I decided that, you know, if the spirit of God has prompted me to say something, I'm gonna trust in God and say it."
