"Everybody in Politics Lies..."

Quoting from Maureen Dowd's writings in the New York Times - Obama's Big Screen Test - she quotes Mr. Geffen as saying, among other things, "Everybody in politics lies, but they do it with such ease, it's troubling."

There are several reasons why people view politicians as liars who are good at lying. Lawyers don't own this field of deceit and deceiving. What is noteworthy is that the Bible was way ahead of these observations. "Put not your trust in princes …" it states. Why? Because they are untrustworthy.
