Does Adultery Matter?

When it was revealed that Justice Rebecca Bradley was dating another man while still married, those on the right were appalled, though not towards her. The mudslingers at the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel were launching a smear campaign they proclaimed. In Bradley's words, I am angry, and I have every right to be. I am extremely outraged by this, but so are the people of Wisconsin... I will never, ever back down from going after the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel and other media outlets for focusing on absolutely everything that is completely irrelevant to this race.

Her ex-husband even came to her defense. Gordon Bradley released a statement saying, I am outraged by the story in the Journal-Sentinel accusing my former wife of having an extra-marital affair. Not only is their headline a lie, they knew it before they printed it. I told their reporter Patrick Marley that we were separated at the time of the relationship.
