City of Eau Claire Considers Allowing Mobile Food Stands on City Streets

Here is a hesitant commendation over the Eau Claire City Council contemplating allowing mobile food stands to sell food on city streets and parks. First, the commendation.

In a struggling economy, it is helpful for the government to unshackle regulations to enable people access to means to make a living. This is especially true for the young, who, according to many people, have less access than before. With a relatively low amount of initial cost, a person can make a modest amount of money selling food on the streets, and eventually rise up to a higher level in the restaurant industry (or whatever) industry.
