The Problems Have Been Building for a Century

          Heavy snow on collapsing roofs were images we saw in the North East this past winter. It is an apt metaphor for what's occurring in the U.S. economy. Too many things are just not making sense to me anymore. I don't think collapse is too far away. We have so many fundamental indicators deteriorating, and the markets are totally ignoring everything (so far).
