Why Boundaries Are Essential

Ever feel spread out like peanut butter? Ever feel used or taken advantage of? Ever feel like you don't have one more ounce of energy, life is chaotic, and you feel like you're running but not getting anywhere? Does anxiety and stress dominate your life?
A good indicator of these issues may be the lack of healthy boundaries. According to the book, "Boundaries - When to Say Yes, When to Say No to Take Control of Your Life" by Drs. Cloud and Townsend, a brief description of a boundary is, "Boundaries define us. They define what is me and what is not me. A boundary shows me where I end and someone else begins, leading me to a sense of ownership."
